Songs from the heart

Music has always been a beautiful form of worship unto the Lord.

The Lord said, as recorded in Doctrine and Covenant 25:12, "For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.

Sing in the Tema Gathering Place Institute Choir

Come and sing with us! The Tema Institute Choir provides an incredible opportunity to grow your faith and testify to others through the power of music. Our mission is to help youth and young adults understand and rely on the teachings and Atonement of Jesus Christ as we sing for a variety of events both at the Gathering Place and in the community. The Lord revealed this to the Prophet Joseph Smith ““My soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads” (Doctrine and Covenants 25:12).
Not only is choir a great spiritual environment, but it is a great way to get involved, make lots of friends, and improve your musical abilities.
The Institute Choir is for all young adults ages 18-30, single or married. No audition or experience required. Please join us in building a powerful choir for the Lord

A Message from the Stake Presidency

The past two years have been particularly difficult for all of God’s children around the world. Coronavirus has brought a lot of pain and anguish into many homes. Many have lost loved ones, and sources of livelihood have been affected due to the negative economic impact of the pandemic. We invite God’s children everywhere to join hands in relieving those in pain and despair, and in restoring hope to the hopeless as the Savior would do it, in His name, even the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
