The Tema Ghana Stake gathered on 26th and 27th September for a memorable Stake Conference centered on the theme “Exercising Faith unto Repentance.”
The two-day conference brought members, families, leaders, and friends together for a weekend of worship, learning, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Through inspired messages, music, testimonies, and opportunities to worship together, participants were reminded of the power of faith in Jesus Christ and its ability to bring greater happiness, peace, hope, and purpose into our lives.
Exercising Faith and Finding Happiness
Throughout the conference, speakers encouraged members to look beyond faith as simply a belief and instead see it as something that can guide our daily choices and actions.
Faith in Jesus Christ can help us face challenges with hope, seek forgiveness and change through repentance, strengthen our relationships, and find lasting happiness through living the teachings of the Savior.
The conference provided an opportunity for members to reflect on their own spiritual journeys and consider how they can exercise greater faith in their homes, families, communities, and personal lives.
The messages shared throughout the weekend also emphasized that happiness is not simply the absence of difficulties. Rather, it can be found through a relationship with Jesus Christ, service to others, gratitude, and the willingness to continually grow and improve.
Welcoming a New Missionary Couple
Another special moment during the conference was the warm welcome extended to a new missionary couple serving within the Tema Ghana Stake.
Their arrival carries a particularly meaningful connection to Ghana. The couple already has a history with the country through their son, making their return and opportunity to serve in Ghana a special family connection.
Members warmly welcomed the couple and expressed excitement about the experiences, relationships, and service that lie ahead. Their presence adds another meaningful chapter to the story of those who have come to Ghana to serve, build relationships, and share their love for the Savior and His gospel.
Moving Forward With Faith
As the conference came to a close, members left with renewed determination to put the teachings they had received into practice.
The theme, “Exercising Faith unto Repentance,” served as more than a conference message. It was a reminder that faith is an ongoing journey—one that invites us to come closer to Jesus Christ, make positive changes, serve others, and find greater happiness along the way.
The Tema Ghana Stake looks forward to carrying the spirit of the conference into the months ahead, strengthening families, supporting one another, welcoming those who are new, and continuing to build a community grounded in faith, happiness, love, and service.
The conference may have ended, but the invitation to exercise faith continues.
