Choir
The song of the heart is a prayer to the Lord. The singing of our sacred hymns as a tool of ministering to comfort, to preach and to foster spiritual growth is the gem that propel the commitments and sacrifices among the choir members.
The choir is composed of youth, young single adults and adults numbering about 50. The stupendous performance of the choir over the years had drawn a nick name “Tema Tabernacle Choir” to herself. The Choir sings at Stake Conferences, Funerals, Hospital and occasionally feature Singers and vocalist in their events and Stake Conferences.

Come and sing with us! The Tema Ghana Stake Choir provides an incredible opportunity to grow your faith and testify to others through the power of music. Our mission is to help youth and adults understand and rely on the teachings and atonement of Jesus Christ as we sing for a variety of events both at the stake and in the community. The Lord revealed this to the Prophet Joseph Smith “My soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads” – Doctrine and Covenants 25:12
Not only is choir a great spiritual environment, but it is a great way to get involved, make lots of friends, and improve your musical abilities.
The Stake Choir is for all young adults ages 18-30, single or married. No audition or experience required. Please join us in building a powerful choir for the Lord
