Welcome to Tema Institute of Religion
Our Institute program provides a setting for you to learn about Jesus Christ, study the word of God, make new friends, and find answers and guidance for life’s tough questions. President Monson made this promise on April 21, 2009 when he stated, “If you are a single college student, I ask you to make participation in institute a priority. Married students and other young adults are also welcome and encouraged to attend. Think of it. Friends will be made, the Spirit will be felt, and faith will be strengthened. I promise you that as you participate in institute and study the scriptures diligently, your power to avoid temptation and to receive direction of the Holy Ghost in all you do will be increased. Divine favor will attend those who humbly seek it. That is a promise which I leave with you”
Class Schedule
As our program grows in attendance, Institute classes will be offered at various times throughout the week to meet the needs of as many attendees as possible. The Institute course materials have been carefully compiled through inspiration and revelation from the Holy Ghost. We invite you to participate in as many courses as possible to enhance your spiritual growth and understanding, and to bring the Spirit of the Lord more abundantly into your daily life.
While encouraging young adults to attend institute, Elder Ronald A. Rasband stated, “I promise you in the Name of the Lord that if you make Institute a part of your life, it will be a garnishment to your life. It will make your life more beautiful, it will make your life go down better, day by day by day. I promise.”
