The Tema Ghana Stake and Seminary & Institute (SnI) organized an impactful event named the Seminary and Succeed in School Fun Day. The event was a significant milestone for the Stake’s youth, as it marked the launch of the Succeed in School program tailored for students from primary 6 to junior high school (JHS) 3.

The event witnessed the presence of several notable leaders who have been instrumental in guiding and supporting the youth of Tema Ghana Stake:

These leaders, along with the entire youth of Tema Ghana Stake, gathered to celebrate and support the new educational initiative.
Launch of the Succeed in School Program
The primary objective of the fun day was to launch the Succeed in School program. This initiative aims to provide extra classes in essential subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Life Skills. The program is designed to cater to the academic needs of the youth, ensuring they have the support and resources necessary to excel in their studies. Additionally, other courses will be offered based on demand, making the program adaptable to the varying needs of the students.
During the launch, facilitators were introduced to the materials and resources required to make the program a success. The provision of these materials is crucial in ensuring that both students and educators have the tools they need for effective teaching and learning.
Venues for the Program
Three venues were announced for the implementation of the Succeed in School program:
- The Stake Center, Community 2
- The Old MTC, Community 10
- Batsonaa Meeting House, Batsonaa
These locations were chosen to provide convenient access for students across the Stake, ensuring that all who wish to participate can do so without significant logistical challenges.
Engaging Activities for the Youth
Following the formal launch of the program, a variety of outdoor activities were organized to engage the youth. These activities were designed not only for fun but also to foster camaraderie, teamwork, and physical fitness among the participants. The combination of educational initiatives and recreational activities highlighted the Stake’s commitment to the holistic development of its youth.
