3 Nephi 18:21, "Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed." This verse reminds us of the importance of praying as families, as we seek blessings and guidance from God. Let us follow this counsel and unite in prayer with our families for those who are affected by disasters in different parts of the world.
All Year Service Projects
Week 7: Abundantly express love
As we ponder the abundance of God's love and goodness in our lives, may we remember that we have been given much so that we too can give much.
Week 5: Testify of God’s love
As we begin the month of love, let us share our testimonies about the love of God for all mankind—John 3:16
Week 4: Share a fruit with a neighbor
As the month of January draws to a close, we want to crown our weekly Christlike Service project with an invitation to share a fruit with your neighbor
Week 3: Express love to a child
Love is essential at every age, but it may take different forms as children grow up. Parents may show love to toddlers by reading them bedtime stories, cuddling them when they fall, and giving hugs and kisses. Love for older children may take the form of help with homework, rides to rehearsals, and appropriate physical affection.
Week 2: Brighten an elderly person’s day
As we challenge ourselves to take on this task, let us ponder on the words of Elder Neil L. Andersen Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in his talk entitled “Ministering in the Holier way“ Leave a comment below of one or possibly all the wonderful moments you have had with an elderly this week
Week 1: Make Someone Smile
Did the little one’s smile make you smile? If so, tag, you’re it! Now see if you can make somebody else smile. In fact, see if you can do it for 7 days in a row (maybe even for a different person each day)!
